Autumn at the Gardens

October sees the start of the autumn colours, Rhus species and Acers are already starting their colour change and they will soon be followed by a wide range of dazzling autumn colours. There are also lots of flowers still in bloom including our magnificent collection of roses, hydrangeas, autumn crocus, and the beginning of the aster season.

The Gardens close to visitors at the end of October and as the nights draw in our opening hours have reduced to Saturday and Sundays from 11am-4pm and, during half term, Wednesday 25 - Sunday 29 October 11am-4pm, when the Gardens will be transformed into our Spooky Root House Trail with free admission for children (trail costs £1).

Spetchley has so much to offer visitors of all ages, from beautiful gardens and vistas to fairies and elves. Children can collect a free copy of our hugely popular Enchanted Door Trail from the Welcome Centre - there is a lot more to Spetchley than first meets the eye!

Spetchley Park Gardens

Latest news

This beautiful historic garden, surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills. It is a garden that provides the ideal day out, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns and the Cotswolds makes us the ideal attraction for groups.

There is more to Spetchley than just a garden. It can also be used for corporate hospitality room hire, promotional and photographic shoots and filming.

There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
