Spetchley has been home to my family for over 400 years and successive generations have lovingly collected and planted rare plants from around the world, creating one of the largest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens.
We are proud to be a garden for all tastes; our Gardens are not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas all with a fascinating story to tell. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our treasured garden.
OUR FIRST WEEKEND
Well, there has been much preparation and build up to our opening and we think it has paid off. A very beautiful Easter weekend meant that the new car park was packed full and we hope all our visitors enjoyed it.
The daffodils, camelias and magnolias are looking fantastic and if this weather continues then they should be at their best over the next few weeks so try and find time to come to Spetchley.
As an early plug, if this weather is taking you out to your gardens and you need inspiration then why not come to our Specialist Plant Fair on 26th April. Gates open at 11am! Lots of nurseries with some great and unusual plants for sale and the opportunity to visit the garden as well.

This beautiful historic garden, surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills. It is a garden that provides the ideal day out for you and your family, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns and the Cotswolds makes us the ideal attraction for groups.
The stunning 30 acre garden, with the Bath Stone Georgian mansion as a backdrop, provides a unique venue for your wedding reception, civil ceremony, or partnership.
There is more to Spetchley than just a garden. It can also be used for corporate hospitality, promotional and photographic shoots and filming.
There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
