Spetchley has been home to my family for over 400 years and successive generations have lovingly collected and planted rare plants from around the world, creating one of the largest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens.
We are proud to be a garden for all tastes; our Gardens are not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas all with a fascinating story to tell. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our treasured garden.
MAKE THE MOST OF THE REMAINING SUMMER
Last weekend we played host to over 900 re-enactors and welcomed 1200 visitors to a weekend of military mayhem, fun and frolics. The weather remained good...just and everyone went home happy. Thank you to all the re-enactors who were brilliant in putting on their wonderful displays and regaling visitors with stories of historical significance.
Now we are focusing on the remaining summer and in particular the Autumn Plant Fair which is on Sunday 21st September. August is a month of transition for the garden as the summer hues die back and we prepare for Autumn shades and tints which turn the garden into yet another amazing canvas.
Come and enjoy the rest of the summer and watch the garden change - building up ideas for your autumn planting and then coming to the plant fair to find those slightly more rare species you may not otherwise find elsewhere.

This beautiful historic garden, surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills. It is a garden that provides the ideal day out for you and your family, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns and the Cotswolds makes us the ideal attraction for groups.
The stunning 30 acre garden, with the Bath Stone Georgian mansion as a backdrop, provides a unique venue for your wedding reception, civil ceremony, or partnership.
There is more to Spetchley than just a garden. It can also be used for corporate hospitality, promotional and photographic shoots and filming.
There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
