Spetchley Park Gardens in September
September sees the start of the autumn colours, Rhus species and Acers are already starting their colour change and they will soon be followed by a wide range of dazzling autumn colours throughout the Gardens. There are lots of flowers still in bloom including our magnificent collection of roses, hydrangeas, autumn crocus, and the beginning of the aster season.
This Sunday (24 September) Transition Worcester's Orchard team will be at the Gardens from 11am-3pm, bring your apples and a container and leave with freshly pressed apple juice!
The Gardens have much to offer younger visitors, from open spaces and wildlife, spooky Halloween trails, and fairies and elves. Collect a free copy of our hugely popular Enchanted Door Trail from the Welcome Centre and explore - there is a lot more to Spetchley than first meets the eye!
Spetchley Park Gardens
This beautiful historic garden, surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills. It is a garden that provides the ideal day out, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns and the Cotswolds makes us the ideal attraction for groups.
There is more to Spetchley than just a garden. It can also be used for corporate hospitality room hire, promotional and photographic shoots and filming.
There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
