Gardens Now Open Wednesday to Sunday from 10.30am we are looking so much to seeing you in our beautiful Gardens !


Sunday Morning Tours

Starting at 11.15 am at the Welcome Centre, on the first Sunday of the month. The tour is all about the Gardens giving you the history of how the Gardens came about and about the Family that designed and made the Gardens what they are today. There's no need to book, just come along pay the normal admission and join the Tour.

Also you can come in on our open days and just ask for a fantastic new tour, which will give you the opportunity to learn about our amazing Trees, from Elgar's Pines to the Cork Oak Tree.  All completely free with your entry admission, these tours are on a best endeavour's basis

 Wednesday - Sunday 10.30 am - 5 pm and Bank Holidays 10.30 am to 5 pm.


During October we are Opening Weekends Only

October 7th to November 3rd Saturday and Sunday - 10.30 am - 4 pm


Halloween Half Term Week

Wednesday October 30th to Sunday November 3rd 10.30 am to 4pm (pre- booked sessions only)

Admission is to the Gardens only, the house is not open to the public.

Season Tickets give you access to the gardens as many times as you like, throughout the season and include our Easter, Summer and Halloween Events. Most of our Exhibitions check our What's On page for details here


More Information

  • We allow one Carer free admission to the Gardens accompanying a Disabled Visitor.
  • We are supporting our Cafe as a local business using local suppliers. They will have a delicious menu for you to choose from.
  • We ask that you dont bring Picnics into the Gardens, to support the Cafe - Thank you.
  • Only assistance Dogs are allowed in the Gardens.


Access Information

Disabled visitors are most welcome to visit Spetchley, there is wheelchair access, as the Gardens are flat and the paths are either gravel or grass. However there are some areas that are not a wheelchair friendly, so please check before visiting. We allow one Carer free admission to the Gardens with a disabled visitor.


To enable everyone to be able to enjoy the Gardens as much as possible there are 2 mobility scooters available to hire, by prior arrangement, for £10.00 per scooter per half day. They can be hired by telephoning the Welcome Centre on 01905 345 106 and will be ready for your arrival. Or you can book online https://spetchleygardens.digitickets.co.uk/tickets


Blue badge parking is provided in the main car park and toilet facilities are available by the Coffee Shop.

Picnics

We would prefer you don't bring your own picnics, you can help us to support local business and buy delicious local sourced food from our Cafe.

Dogs

We regret that dogs are not allowed on the premises, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Whilst it is always best to pre-book your admission tickets, and you will receive a discount if you book in advance online and Season Ticket Holders can also pre-book online. You are also able to buy 'on the day' admissions when you arrive..

  • You can now buy day tickets, on the day of entry.
  • For our Events it is always best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

  • Our Mobile Scooters do need to be booked in advance to ensure availability, or you can ring 01905 345 106  to check availability.


The Cafe is open the same days as the gardens Wednesday to Sunday from 10.30 -4.30pm (last orders 4pm) for indoor and outdoor dining. Serving a delicious range of light lunch dishes from 12-2pm as well as hot & cold drinks, homemade cakes and snacks throughout the day.

Directions by car


From the South

Leave the M5 at Junction 7

Take the A44 (To Evesham / Worcester South)

Continue to follow signs for the A44 by going straight over the first roundabout, right at the second roundabout and right at the third roundabout (signposted Evesham).

Shortly after crossing over the M5, you will pass under a white footbridge and the entrance to the Gardens is on the right.


From the North

Leave the M5 at Junction 6

Take the A4538, Pershore Road. Straight over the first and second roundabouts, at the third roundabout turn right onto the A44 (Worcester).

Half a mile after crossing over the railway, turn left into the Gardens.


From the East

Follow the A44 from Stratford-Upon-Avon to Worcester. Go straight over the roundabout with the A4538 Pershore Road and after half mile turn left into Spetchley.


From the West

Take the A44 out of Worcester towards Stratford-Upon-Avon. Shortly after crossing over the M5, you will pass under a white footbridge and the entrance to the Gardens is on the right.

Please find our General Visitor information

  • Is everywhere open?

    Yes our gardens, are open.


    The safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors remains our number one priority and we ask for your continued kindness and consideration towards our other visitors and members of the gardens Team.


    The Church is open for Visitors to use for quite contemplation.


    Our online booking system is in place, we urge people to book ahead of their visit, whenever possible and definitely for our Events, Exhibitions, bank holidays and busy school holiday weekends we now offer a small discount for those who book online in advance.


    We are continuing with our enhanced cleaning regimes, in the toilets, Welcome Centre and Cafe.


    Our natural play area which encourages children to explore, is open.


    Please check our web page before you visit and follow all signage on site and instructions from our Team.


    We will continue to have places with hand sanitiser available but you are advised to bring your own.


    Our Car park is free to all visitors.

  • How can I book a visit?

    You can only book online up to midnight of the day before. You can check for availability by ringing on the day 01905 345106. 


    But I/or family member doesn’t have access to the internet


    For those who are unable to book online you can call our booking team on 01905 345 106.

  • Will I have to print out my tickets or can I show them on my phone?

    Visitors should show their tickets on their phone, they may also be asked to share their name and booking number.


    Carer's do still need to book a ticket for themselves, this will give them free admission, and the person they accompany will also need a paid for pre-booked ticket as well.


    Tickets are for your use only and are not available for resale. We will cancel tickets which we believe have been resold.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    If you need to change or cancel your booking please email enquiries@spetchleygardens.co.uk. We cannot change or cancel bookings after 3pm the day before your timeslot, in any circumstance. Our terms and conditions at the time of booking state no refunds.

  • What can I expect from my visit?

    Whilst we continue to live with Covid, we will continue to have in place some systems, to keep you and our Team safe.


    You may be asked to queue, follow a one-way system into admissions and leave as directed via a separate exit. We ask for your consideration and that you follow these instructions – they’re for everyone’s continued safety.

  • Can I bring my own food and drinks?

    We would prefer that visitors do not bring their own food. Help us to support local businesses and buy your snacks, cakes and drinks from the Granary Coffee Shop, they are totally delicious made by our very own chef Zoe with locally sourced quality ingredients.


    Therefore we would like you not to bring your own Picnics into the Gardens.


    Please don't leave any litter behind.


    We are able to accept re-usable cups we will not be adding the additional 5p charge for the use of disposable takeaway cups.

  • Plant Sales

    We have all new stock in from our nurseries ready each week for you.


    We will continue to take payment outside of the Welcome Centre for Plant sales, please follow the signage.

  • Visiting the gardens

    No Dogs with the exception of Assistance Dogs are allowed in the Gardens.


    We will continue to only take Card Payment for entrance to the Gardens, we thank you for your consideration in keeping our Team safe.
