| 2009 Events April 26th Specialist Plant Fair More than 30 nurseries selling some of the more rare and everyday plants and shrubs were out in force on a beautiful sunny sunday. Over 1400 visitors turned up to start planning their spring planting and buying whatever they needed to ensure their gardens were ready for the 2009 season Local nursery owner John Massey was a guest speaker at the fair talking on Plants for all seasons. This event is extremely popular and a household name now it has been running at Spetchley for nearly 10 years. We will very shortly be making plans for 2010 so why not come and peruse the stands in this idyllic setting. For more information please watch this space. | Standard Motor Club display. 6th & 7th June | ||||

| A display of of one of Britain's classic motor cars - The Standard - sadly not made any more. Come and see 27 lovingly cared for models which will be on display on the 6th and 7th June. There will pre and post vintage, flying Vanguards and pennants - something to suit all enthusiasts or those just interested to see classical British engineering at its best. |

| The 3rd Armoured Picnic 3rd & 4th October 2009 | ||||

| The 2nd Armoured Picnic was a very enjoyable weekend, offering the visitor to Spetchley a chance to walk through a multi period event seeing how armies and camp followers lived from many periods, ranging gfrom the 17th Century all the way through to World War 2. They will be returning this year on 3rd & 4th October to parade, carry out manoevres and show off their equipment and how they would have lived. Never before have so many historical eras been brought together in one place. It will be a wonderful time to bring the family and learn how other once lived and worked.
