Sunday 15th September 2013
For more than 15 years we have hosted the annual Specialist Plant Fair and in 2012 decided to jump on the popularity bandwagon and hold two!!
It has become one of the recognised gardening events in the Midlands where visitors can find truly rare and unusual garden plants.
Our first Fair of the year was held on April 21st and hosted over 40 of the best small specialist nurseries and stalls, including hand made tools, wood carvings, ironmongery and the traditional hog roast. Over 1,000 visitors browsed and bought a myriad of different plants, shrubs and trees and enjoyed some excellent food supplied by Chanterelles, Boreley Pig Roast and Mrs Pattison's very own home made cakes.
The 30 acre gardens here, contain a huge range of rare plants that have been collected and planted by successive generations of the Berkeley family. Many were on display, available to be purchased.
Our next fair will be in the Autumn on September 15th, so please put the date in your diaries and come and see what these fantastic nurseries have to offer in the way of Autumn specials.
