Spetchley has been home to my family for over 400 years and successive generations have lovingly collected and planted rare plants from around the world, creating one of the largest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens.
We are proud to be a garden for all tastes; our Gardens are not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas all with a fascinating story to tell. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our treasured garden.
What glorious weather we are having and the optimists amongst us are forecasting it to continue throughout the summer - we hope!
Whilst the daffodils are sadly past their best we are now enjoying the magnolias and the rise of the peony.
Join us this Sunday, 27 April, for our annual Spring Specialist Plant Fair and start planning your spring / summer planting. With over 40 specialist nurseries in attendance keen gardeners will be able to find truly rare and unusual garden plants. Gates open at 11am - 5pm and entrance to the Gardens is included within the £5 admission fee, free for under 14's.
We will soon be introducing our new childrens pack - an 8 page colour leaflet setting conundrums for all ages with a few jokes thrown in for fun.
We look forward to welcoming you to Spetchley soon.

This beautiful historic garden, surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills. It is a garden that provides the ideal day out for you and your family, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns and the Cotswolds makes us the ideal attraction for groups.
The stunning 30 acre garden, with the Bath Stone Georgian mansion as a backdrop, provides a unique venue for your wedding reception, civil ceremony, or partnership.
There is more to Spetchley than just a garden. It can also be used for corporate hospitality, promotional and photographic shoots and filming.
There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
