Spetchley has been home to my family for over 400 years and successive generations have lovingly collected and planted rare plants from around the world, creating one of the largest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens.
We are proud to be a garden for all tastes; our Gardens are not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas all with a fascinating story to tell. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our treasured garden.
SUMMER AT THE GARDENS
Since the grand opening of our new Car Park and Welcome Centre in in April our feet haven't touched the ground. We have been delighted to read so many positive reviews from our visitors, it is wonderful to see that the changes are being well received.
In addition to our new facilities we also have Audio Guides available from our Welcome Centre for just £1. The guides provide fascinating insights into the Gardens and their wonderful history.
Recent visitors to the Gardens will have noticed our newt fencing around the perimeter of the lake. The fencing is to protect our four legged semiaquatic friends ahead of the lake being dredged in August. The lake regeneration is a large and interesting project set to last into the Autumn, further information regarding our Revival can be found under our 'Whats On', 'Revival' section.
We look forward to welcoming you to our treasured garden in the near future.

This beautiful historic garden, surrounded by ancient parkland, deer park and lakes is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills. It is a garden that provides the ideal day out for you and your family, allowing you and your children the dream escape from the bustle of everyday life. Our proximity to Worcester, the Malverns and the Cotswolds makes us the ideal attraction for groups.
The stunning 30 acre garden, with the Bath Stone Georgian mansion as a backdrop, provides a unique venue for your wedding reception, civil ceremony, or partnership.
There is more to Spetchley than just a garden. It can also be used for corporate hospitality, promotional and photographic shoots and filming.
There is also a wonderful tea room, where you can buy a light lunch or full, traditional afternoon tea. We hope you enjoy your visit to Spetchley and thank you for taking time to look at our website.
